Tigers Conclude Regular Season at Saint Mary’s

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Tiger women's tennis team end their regular season this weekend as they head to Saint Mary's to take on the Gaels this Saturday at 11 AM. Pacific is still looking for their first West Coast Conference victory after falling to both Portland and Gonzaga this past weekend.

Against the Pilots, the Orange and Black fell 4-1 with Anna Ramos Vinolas logging the only victory for the Tigers in a three-set 7-6 (6), 3-6, 6-1 win. On Saturday against second place Gonzaga, Pacific lost 4-0 to fall to 5-13 on the year and 0-8 in conference action.

The Gaels are 10-7 overall this season, 5-2 in WCC play, and are winners of four of their last five matches. The Tigers will need to rely on strong singles play by Sabrina Rodriguez, Anneroos Nederstigt, Maayan Sela and Cristina Saenz de Buruaga Ruiz in order to dispatch the Gaels this weekend.
