Las Vegas, Nev. - The Pacific women's tennis team claimed another narrow victory, winning 4-3 over New Mexico State in Las Vegas, on Friday, February 6. The Tigers improved to 2-0 with the win.

Hana Ritterova and Iveta Masarova won doubles, 6-1, along with teammates Cristina Saenz de Buruaga and Antonella Santeusanio who also won doubles, 6-2.
"We squeaked out a win today with a very unfortunate finish." said Head Coach Charlotte Scatliffe, "The match came down to Christiana who was showing great poise and guts in the third set in the clinch match and ended up winning for the team when her opponent went down with an injury. Overall it was a great test for our team and I am pleased with the fight and efforts all around. We will need to bring the fight and moxie tomorrow against a tough UNLV team."
The Tigers are next in action against UNLV in Las Vegas on Saturday, Feb. 7.
