Stanford, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team continued play at the ITA Regionals on Saturday, October 19.
Iveta Masarova and Hana Ritterova both advanced to the round of 16 on Friday, but ended up falling in the semi-final round. Ritterova and doubles partner Cristina Saenz de Buruaga also dropped their Saturday match. The Tigers finish play on Sunday.
"Iveta played the best I've seen her play at this tournament," said Head Coach Charlotte Scatliffe. "She came out aggressive in her first round match and played that way through today's tough match up against Stanford's Taylor Davidson. All of the ladies are showing improvement and are recognizing the strengths we have as a team. We look forward to the next two weeks of training before our final tournament of the Fall season at the Bulldog Classic Nov. 1-3."
