2012-13 (Sophomore):
Regina was 2-7 in fall tournaments, but finished 11-19 overall on the year ... She played at both No. 5 (0-2) and No. 6 (9-10) singles ... Suarez defeated Anna Klavins of Cal Poly to help the Tigers advance to the second round of the Big West Championships in April ... She opened the spring slate with victories in four of her first five matches ... On the doubles side, she was 5-22 on the season, starting out the year with Gergana Boncheva (2-8) as her partner and finishing with Christiana Ferrari (1-6).

2011-12 (Freshman):
Regina picked up three wins in the fall tournament slate, going 3-10 ... She doubled her win total in the spring dual match side of the schedule, getting six wins ... She won two in a row twice in the spring ... Suarez was 9-22 overall, but was 6-8 at No. 6 singles for the Tigers ... She was 15-16 in doubles competition, getting six her seven spring doubles wins at the No. 3 spot ... Regina was 3-1 partnering with Gergana Boncheva at the St. Mary's Invitational in October.

High School:
In high school Regina was recognized in 2007 and 2008 for her tactics out on the court, earning her recognition for her impressive doubles play ...  In 2007 she was the DVL doubles champion after having an undefeated season.

Regina was born in Palm Springs, California and was raised in La Quinta, Calif. ... She is the daughter of Rod and Tess Suarez and has two siblings, brother Roderic, and younger sister Rochelle ... Regina was also recognized for her academic accomplishments ... Regina is currently an exploratory natural sciences major and is unsure as to her career plans ...
