Palo Alto, Calif.-Freshman Tiger Christiana Ferrari makes a comeback in the second day of competition at the ITA Northwest Regionals. In Ferrari's consolation match, she defeated Eastern Washington's Chelsea Patton in straight sets to post a final score of 6-2, 6-1.
At the conclusion of the second day, Head Women's Tennis Coach Charlotte Scatliffe stated, "Today's consolation matches provided the ladies another chance to keep up the philosophy we strove for when we entered this tournament. PAC, which to the Lady Tigers stands for Positive Active and Controlled, was the theme of our tennis style for this tournament and today it showed. Christiana and Regina kept the positive, had fantastic energy, and stayed mentally calm and controlled in their singles matches today."
