Tigers Defeated By The Nevada Wolf Pack 6-1

Reno, Nev.- The Tigers weren't able to produce a win at Nevada, coming up short with a final match score of 6-1. The Tigers dropped to 4-12 while the Wolf Pack improved to 5-8.

In the doubles events, sophomore Susan Te and freshman Regina Suarez proved victorious in the No. 3 position, however Pacific fell in the first two positions. 

In the singles events the Tigers were defeated in five of the six competitions.  Senior Summer Irvin defeated her opponent at the No. 5 position in straight sets to earn a final match score of 6-2, 6-3.

At the conclusion of the match, Head Women's Tennis Coach Bob Chiene stated, "It was really difficult to produce results at 4700 ft. The balls travel at a higher velocity and it took us more time to get used to it."
