Mack's second season at Pacific was highlighted by a trio of top-24 finishes at the 2013 MPSF Championships. She came in 13th in the 400 IM (4:27.64), 20th in the 200 Breast (2:24.24) and 22nd in the 100 Breast (1:06.92). At the Pacific Invite, she placed 11th in the 400 IM (4:33.04) and 19th in the 100 Breast (1:11.32). The UNLV Winter Invite saw Mack take 11th in the 400 IM (4:42.45) and 12th in both the 100 Breast (1:07.23) and the 200 Breast (2:25.33). Academically, Mack earned MPSF All-Academic honors.
In her first year at Pacific, Mack specialized in the two breaststroke and individual medley events. She earned a trio of fourth-place finishes on the year, taking fourth in the 200 Breast and 200 IM versus CSU Bakersfield before finish fourth in the 400 IM against UC Santa Barbara. She added two fifth-place finishes, one each in the 200 Breast and 200 IM, versus Fresno Pacific and UC Santa Cruz. At the 2012 MPSF Championships, Mack took 19th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:33.04 while her mark of 1:10.61 in the 100 Breast was good for 23rd. Both marks were season-best times and ranked second and third, respectively, on the team.
Mack graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. In her time as an Eagle, Mack was named her team’s Outstanding Swimmer as a freshman and sophomore. She was given the Most Inspirational award as a junior and the Coaches’ Award as a senior. Academically, Mack earned an International Baccalaureate certificate. She swam for both the Coto Coyote and Mission Viejo Nadadores club programs.
Mack was born in Palmdale, Calif., and is the daughter of David and Mary Mack. She has two younger siblings, Taryn and Sean. Mack lists her hobbies as dancing, art, and writing. She is pursuing a degree in communication with the career goal of becoming a journalist.
