One of Pacific's top backstrokers, Bolin recorded a pair of top-24 finishes at the 2013 MPSF Championship, taking 14th in the 200 Back (2:04.01) and 21st in the 100 Back (58.56). She added a 28th-place finish in the 500 Free (5:10.10). At the Pacific Invite, she placed 10th in the 200 Back (2:10.66) and 16th in the 100 Back (1:01.12). The UNLV Winter Invite saw Bolin come in sixth in the 200 Back (2:05.06), 10th in the 500 Free (5:08.57) and 12th in the 100 Back (58.61). Academically, Bolin was an MPSF All-Academic selection.
Having flashed tremendous potential as a freshman, Bolin solidified her spot amongst the MPSF’s top backstrokers with an impressive sophomore campaign. She collected three 200 Back titles in the regular season, finishing first against conferences foes UC Davis, CSU Bakersfield and UC Santa Barbara, respectively. Bolin added six runner-up finishes in both back events throughout the year and never finished outside of the top four in either event. Her respective season-best times in the 200 Back (2:02.75) and 100 Back (57.02) ranked first and second on the team. At the 2012 MPSF Championships, she placed 11th in the 100 Back with a time of 57.54 while her mark of 2:04.70 in the 200 Back was good for 12th. Outside of the pool, Bolin was recognized to the MPSF All-Academic Team.
Bolin earned Second Team All-MPSF honors in the 200 Back, placing seventh in the same event (2:04.97), and 15th in the 100 Back (58.48), at the 2011 MPSF Championships. Bolin finished first in the 200 Back (2:09.41) at the Tri Meet on Jan. 22. She came in second in the 100 Back (1:00.85) versus UC Davis on Jan. 14 and at the Tri Meet on Jan. 22.
Bolin prepped at Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Mo. She was an All-America selection in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Outside of the pool, Bolin was a member of the National Honor Society.
Bolin was born in Blue Springs, Mo., and is the daughter of Steve and Connie Bolin. She has an older brother, Zach. Bolin is majoring in sports medicine and enjoys reading in her spare time.
