2011 (Sophomore):
Continuing her play as one of the Big West's best outfielders, Hom put together another epic season in just her second year of action. Earning second team all-region honors along with her second First Team All-Big West award, Hom showed off both her skills with the bat and her skills with the glove in 2011. At the plate, Hom posted a .367 average while tallying a conference-best 69 hits. Hom's 69 hits ranks as the fourth most in Pacific single-season history while her .367 average ties for the 10th best in program history. She added 42 runs, sixth most in single-season history, and 20 RBI while leading off for the Tigers' historically potent offense. Against the region, Hom was even more impressive as she went 31-for-69 (.449) while scoring a team-best 20 runs. In the field, Hom committed just one mistake while patrolling center field, also regularly making the extraordinary the mundane including robbing a pair of home runs during the year. She was named the conference's player of the week on Mar. 28.

2010 (Freshman):
In Hom, the Tigers witnessed the emergence of a special center fielder as she took control of the Tigers' outfield from the outset of the season and provided Pacific with a stellar opening campaign. Playing her first collegiate season, Hom was spectacular at the plate and in the field as she finished the season hitting .363 while playing a perfect center field. Her .363 batting average ranked No. 4 in the Big West for the year while she was even better in conference play after batting .382 through the Tigers' 21 contests. In the field, Hom was one of just seven players in the conference and one of just two regular starters to finish the season without an error. At the plate, Hom racked up a team and conference-best 62 hits while batting second in the order for the Tigers all season long. Additionally, Hom posted 15 sacrifice hits throughout the season, a mark which also led all Big West batters. On the base paths, Hom posted a team-high 10 stolen bases while scoring 33 runs, fourth best in the conference while ranking second among all freshmen. She earned the Tigers' first and only conference field player of the week award, garnering the award on February 22 after batting .750 and notching her first career RBI during the week. For her play, Hom earned First Team All-Big West honors as one of two Tigers to earn the top conference post season award. 

High School:
Graduating from Northwood High School in Irvine, Calif., in 2009, Hom proved to be a tremendous defensive outfielder for the Timberwolves throughout her high school career. In her fourth and final varsity season, Megan posted a perfect defensive percentage, finishing the year without an error while patrolling center field. In addition to her stellar defense, Hom finished second on her team in hitting with a .348 batting average. She scored 13 runs and drove in eight at the top of the Timberwolves lineup en route to earning Second Team All-Sea View League honors. The all-league award was the fourth straight of her career. As a junior, Hom earned her first all-city award with a .347 batting average, 21 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. The year prior, Megan earned team Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player honors after hitting .400 with 34 hits and 11 runs on the season. She was named the Freshman of the Year in her first season of varsity action. Academically, Hom was a four-time member of the Principal's Honor Roll as well as a three-time member of the California Scholarship Federation. She is also an accomplished musician as she was a member of the Northwood Marching Band and Wind Symphony.

Personal:
Megan Hom was born in Artesia, Calif., and is the daughter of Susan and Matthew Hom. She has one younger sister, Jenna. In her third year at Pacific, Megan is a biological sciences major.
