Pacific Plays Pink Against Long Beach State April 14th
Sporting pink uniforms and playing for breast health awareness, the Tigers have announced their annual Pink Game for Sunday, April 14th as Pacific will take on Long Beach State in Big West Conference play. An annual event for the Tigers and teams around the country, Pacific will play to raise awareness of breast cancer as well as breast health awareness as the Tigers strive to help build a future where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease.
The Pacific softball team is just one of many teams at Pacific that play pink throughout its seasons as both the men's and women's basketball teams played pink on Feb. 2. During the doubleheader event the Tigers raised approximately $5,000 for cancer research. The women's volleyball team sported their pink on Oct. 13 while both the soccer and field hockey teams represented breast health awareness during their fall seasons.
