Pacific Looks To Bounce Back With A Trip To Riverside

Complete Release

After dropping their first Big West series since the 2010 season, the Tigers will hit the road looking to bounce back and get on track as they head to UC Riverside to take on the Highlanders.  Entering just the second week of conference play, the Tigers find themselves a game back of the pack at 1-2 in the Big West and 21-13 overall.  The Highlanders, who like the Tigers entered Big West play as the only teams over .500, stumbled out of the gate as well dropping their opening series to UC Davis.  Overall, UC Riverside is 18-17 on the year and 1-2 in the conference.

Last season, the Tigers swept the Highlanders at Bill Simoni Field, one of two series sweeps for the Tigers during their 2011 championship run.  However, changing venues to Riverside, the Tigers will have to contend with a Highlander team that has had the bulk of their success at home in 2012, winning 16 of 18 in their home park.
