Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

Stockton, Calif. - Entering their open play for the Spring season the Pacific soccer team has announced dates of competition for month of April. The Tigers will play three times in the month including a home game against Stanislaus State.

The Tigers will open their Spring schedule on Saturday, April 2 when they travel up I-5 to take on Sacramento State. The two teams will face off at 3:00 pm at Hornet field. In the regular season the Tigers defeated the Hornets, 1-0, at home in Stagg Memorial Stadium as they outshot Sacramento State 16-2 in the shutout.

Returning home a week later, Pacific will host Stanislaus State in Stagg Stadium with the game scheduled for 7:00 pm on Saturday, April 9. The game will be the only home game of the Spring for the Tigers as they hit the road for their final contest of the offseason with a tilt against perennial power Stanford. The Tigers will take on the Cardinal in Stanford, Calif. on Saturday, April 16 at 1:00 pm. The two teams met in the regular season with the No. 2 Cardinal prevailing 4-0 at home.
