The Pacific women's soccer team released it 2018 schedule today which features matches against two teams that finished the season in the NCAA top-25 in 2017.
The season kicks off on August 7 in Reno, Nevada with an exhibition against Nevada. A little more than a week later, the Tigers will head to the nation's capital to take on George Washington followed by a contest against Navy three days later. Navy was 63rd in RPI in 2017.
Following the east coast swing, the team will head to New Mexico to take on New Mexico and New Mexico State on August 24 and 26 respectively before returning home for a stretch of three games.
The Tigers open their home schedule against Sacramento State on August 31 as the first half of a doubleheader with the men's team at 5. The men will take on Cal at 7:30 later that day. The team will take on Hawaii and Cal State Northridge before concluding the home stand. Northridge was a top-100 RPI team in 2017.
After three games on the road, the Tigers return to Knoles Field to open the West Coast Conference slate against the defending conference champions Pepperdine. Two days later, the Tigers will host Loyola – Marymount; both teams the Tigers will see on WCC opening weekend had top-75 RPIs in 2017.
Pacific will head north the following weekend for matches at Gonzaga and Portland before taking on San Francisco on October 14. The Tigers close out the 2018 home schedule with back-to-back-to-back home matches against BYU, San Diego and Saint Mary's.
The Tigers close out the regular season on the road at Santa Clara on November 3. Santa Clara finished the 2017 season as the No. 20 team in the NCAA.
