Nicole started all 18 matches for the Tigers in 2012 and playing 1,522 minutes. She finished the year with 11 shots, including seven on goal. Pennick played a season-best 110 minutes in Pacific's 3-3 tie at UC Santa Barbara on Sept. 30.
In her first season of action, Penick saw action in all 18 games for the Tigers, coming off the bench as an attacking sub for Pacific in the midfield. As a freshman, she logged 736 minutes and took nine shots.
Nicole Penick, a 5-3 midfielder/defender, is a native of Saugus, Calif., where she has helped Saugus to three-straight Foothill League Division II Championships. In 2010, Penick earned second team all-league honors. A three-sport athlete, Penick was also a first team all-league cross country runner, as part of two state championship teams. In track & field, Penick has been a part of three Foothill League championship teams and won the CIF championship in 2010.
Nicole La Shawn Penick is the daughter of Clifford and Lynette Penick. She has one younger brother, Devin. She is a Pychology major.
