Regina made an immediate impact in the backfield for Pacific as a freshman, starting all 18 matches. She scored one goal, getting on the board in the home match against UC Davis on Oct. 5. Manneh had 24 shots, including seven on goal. She played 1,395 minutes in her first year. Excelling in the clasroom, she was a Pacific and Big West Scholar Athlete. Regina was voted Co-Rookie of the Year by her teammates following the season.
Regina came to Pacific out of Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego. A four-year starter and letter winner, Manneh earned Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman, second team all-league as a sophomore, first Team all-league, all-county, and All-CIF as a junior. She tallied 14 goals last season with four assists and scored six goals with four assists while playing stopper as the Broncos won the league title and advanced to the semis of CIF. She was captain of the Cal South ODP Girls 1994 team that won four straight Regional ODP Championships.
Regina Manneh was born in San Diego, Calif., and is the daughter of Adel and Sami Manneh. She has two siblings, Michael and Cassandra. Manneh will pursue a degree in biology with the goal of becoming an orthodontist.
