Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Field Hockey team will play its final home contest of the 2010 season Saturday, October 30th 2010 at Brookside Field. The Tigers will Play Pink for breast cancer awareness and honor their senior class before their game at 1 p.m.
The Tigers are looking to finish on a strong note against an Aggies squad which is led by former Pacific All-American Vianney Campos, who still holds Pacific records for most goals in a game (5), most goals in a season (32), and total points in a career (154).
Saturday's game will be the final home game for Kelly Perkins (Gilroy, Calif.), Megan Pedersen (Escondido, Calif.), Sarah Miceli (San Jose, Calif.) and Christina Niccum (Simi Valley, Calif.).
Perkins is the Tigers leading scorer this season, with five goals and 11 points. She is also a team captain, along with Miceli, who scored her first career goal this season.
Pedersen has appeared in the most games of this class, being called on 60 times during her four-year career. Niccum, a goalie, has 165 career saves and has earned five wins during her time with Pacific.
Following the Tigers game against UC Davis, the team will head to the NorPac conference tournament in Davidson, N.C. November 4-6.
