Pacific Wins At Stanford 3-2 In Final Spring Contest

Stanford, Calif. - The Tiger field hockey team finished the Spring season with a 3-2 win at Stanford on Friday, April 22.

Pacific picked up goals from freshman Paige Counsman (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.), sophomore Dinah Compton (Escondido, Calif.), and freshman Maggie Grindatti (Saco, Maine) as the Tigers upended the reigning NorPac champion.

It was the best offensive game we have played in two years," said Pacific Head Coach Linda MacDonald. "We displayed great teamwork in the game. It's so important for the players to carry this with them through their summer training, it's a real confidence builder."
