Pacific Field Hockey Adds Lauren Peterson

Stockton, Calif. - Pacific Field Hockey head coach Linda MacDonald announced the signing of Lauren Peterson to the program for the 2011-12 school year.

Peterson is from Los Altos High School in Los Altos, Calif. She is a versatile player who can play offense as well as defense. A Bay Valley Athletic League All-League selection in 2008, she was also a USFHA Futures participant in each of the last four years. She has also been a member of two of the top club teams in the area, Los Gatos Quicksilver Cats and Gilroy Infinity. Outstanding on the field and in the classroom, she is a member of the National Honor Society and Model United Nations.

"Lauren is a positive, mature, outgoing individual. She is going to bring leadership to Pacific both on and off the field," said MacDonald. "I have watched Lauren continue to improve over the years. She is an extremely hard-worker who has the flexibility to play numerous positions."
