Pacific Field Hockey's Emily Trudeau Selected To The Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society
Stockton, Calif. – Emily Trudeau of the Pacific field hockey team was selected to the Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society, an organization that recognizes college seniors for superior achievement in scholarship, leadership and service.
Trudeau, a senior from San Jose, received the recognition as part of the Knolens Chapter at the University of the Pacific. The selection is one of the highest honors a senior can receive, other Mortar Board student-athlete recipients include Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints and Katie Smith of the Seattle Storm.
Trudeau is proud of the honor saying, "I am really excited and it is an honor to have been one of the few selected to join Mortar Board this year and I look forward to serving in the Knolens Chapter."
On the field the Tigers will finish their spring with an exhibition this Sunday, April 22 at UC Davis. The contest is schedule to begin at 2:00 p.m.
