Stockton, Calif. - The NorPac Conference announced its All-Conference Awards Wednesday, November 2, and three Tigers made the list. Senior Amanda Spellman, junior Ashlee Schlesier, and sophomore Emily Tregoning were all recognized as they were named West Division All-Conference Players for their outstanding efforts and accomplishments on the field in 2011.

Spellman, a two-time captain for Pacific, was a constant leader on and off the field. She recorded four goals while starting all 15 games for the Tigers. A Gilroy, Calif. native was also a force on the defensive side of the field recording three defensive saves.

Spellman's highlight of the year came when she knocked in the game-winner on a cross-pass to give the Tigers a 4-3 win in the final minute of regulation over the Brown Bears. It was the Tigers first victory of the season.

Goalkeeper Ashlee Schlesier was a solid back-stop for the Tiger defensive. The San Diego, Calif. product recorded a 139 saves in over 960 minutes in the cage. She finished the regular season ranked third in the nation with 9.93 saves per game, and was in the top 40 in the country with a save percentage of .720.

The highlight of Schlesier's season came in the 3-2 penalty stroke victory over Robert Morris. With the game on the line she made two game deciding key saves, including a diving stick save that would have given the Colonials a 1-0 advantage in the sudden death portion of strokes.

Midfielder Tregoning was another force that helped the Tiger defense turn away opposing offenses. She recorded one defensive save, and was constantly stopping the ball and getting it up to the Pacific attackers.

The San Jose, Calif. native's season highlight came against an early season contest against Stanford. She turned away a strong shot from an attacker off a penalty corner to deny the Cardinal their first goal of the contest.

The All-Conference players of Spellman, Schlesier and Tregoning look to lead the Tigers to a victory over Longwood tomorrow November 3 at 4:00 pm. Pacific will take on the Lancers in its first 2011 NorPac Conference game on the Varsity Turf in Stanford, Calif.
