Goalkeepers Stephanie Douglass and Ashlee Schlesier split time recording three and six saves, respectively.
For the game UC Davis recorded four goals with 12 shots on goal.
Pacific will continue its exhibition schedule Saturday, August 20 against Alberta in Berkeley, Calif. at 2 p.m. and Sunday, August 21 at 12 p.m. at Stanford. The Tigers will begin their regular season on August 26 at 6 p.m. at UC Davis.
Tigers Exhibition Season Begins Against UC Davis

Stockton, Calif. – The Pacific Tigers Field Hockey team began competition Tuesday, August 16 in an exhibition match against UC Davis. The Aggies were playing their second exhibition after opening play against Cal.
The Aggies got off to an early lead, but Pacific fought back with scoring chances at the end of the first half. Sophomore, Melissa Maultsby recorded two shots on goal late in the half. Freshman Tarah Trotter had a near goal during the second half, but was turned away by UC Davis' goalkeeper Danielle
