Women's Basketball Announces 2011 Camp Dates

STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific women's basketball announced its dates for the program's 2011 summer camps. The Tigers coaching staff will hold three separate types of camps, for girls ages six and up through students in 12th grade.

Pacific Hoop Classics is a tournament camp for varsity and junior varsity high school teams. The Tigers will hold a pair of sessions (Friday, June 10 - Sunday, June 12; and Friday, June 24 - Sunday, June 26) as the teams will compete in a minimum of five games at the Alex G. Spanos Center and Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium.

The Tiger Rookie Camp (June 13-16) is for girls ages 6-14 and consists of shorter sessions designed to develop fundamental basketball skills and play fun basketball related games for young girls.

Pacific also offers Evening Individual Skill Clinics (June 20, 21, 22) for girls ages 12-18 which will focus is not only fundamentals and game-play, but also the development of teamwork and individual leadership skills.
