2012-13 (Sophomore):
Franke's sophomore season was highlighted by an NCAA qualifying time of 55.32 in the 100 Breast at the 2013 MPSF Championships. The time was good for seventh while his mark of 2:08.37 in the 200 Breast was good for 24th. He took third in the 100 Breast (58.54) and seventh in the 200 Breast (2:14.38) at the Pacific Invite. The UNLV Winter Invite saw Franke placed third in the 100 Breast (57.71) and eighth in the 200 Breast (2:12.40). 

2011-12 (Freshman):
Specializing in the breast events for the Tigers, Franke had his best meet of the season against conference rival CSU Bakersfield on Oct. 29. He placed second in the 100 Breast with a time of 59.10 before collecting third in the 200 Breast behind a mark of 2:10.72. Franke added a third-place finish in the 100 Breast at the Quad Meet on Nov. 5. 

Davis HS ('11):
Franke graduated from Davis High School in Davis, Calif. He led his team to a first-place finish at the San Joaquin sections and was tabbed as an All-America selection.

Personal:
Franke was born in Woodland, Calif., and is the son of Ken and Melissa Franke. He has an older sister, Allie, and two younger sisters, Clarissa and Isabella. Franke’s hobbies include swimming, sleeping, and eating. He is majoring in mechanical engineering.
