2009-10 (Freshman):
Schirmer rounded out the top-20 in the 200 Free during the Pacific Invitational with a time of 1:52.16. At the end of the season Schirmer set career best times in the 50 Free (21.16) and the 100 Free (46.72) during the conference championships. His time of 21.16 in the 50 Free was the second fastest time for the men's team during the season.

High School:
Kevin graduated from San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, Calif., where he was a two-sport athlete in water polo and swimming. Schirmer earned four letters in swimming and two letters in water polo. He earned Second Team All-East Bay Athletic League honors in 2008 in water polo. In 2008 and 2009 Kevin earned All-America honors in swimming.

Personal:
Kevin Schirmer was born in San Ramon, Calif., and is the son of Keith and Zoe Schirmer. He has one older sister, Melissa. In his free time he enjoys surfing. Entering his second year at Pacific, Kevin is studying engineering.
