2017 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Earned All-Golden Coast Conference Player of the Year, All-GCC First Team, All-GCC Tournament Team, and All-GCC Tournament MVP honors this year. Led the way for the Tigers with a team-high 81 goals, 36 assists, and 117 points. Also recorded a team-best 61 steals and 14 field blocks on the year. Registered a goal in 26 out of the Orange and Black's 27 matches. Shot .471 percent from the field. Added 16 hat-tricks including a career-high seven goals against San Jose State (Nov. 10). Had a stretch of six games in which he scored three or more goals (Sept. 17-Sept. 30). Had 12 matches with three or more steals, including a career-best seven versus No. 10 UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 3). Scored four goals in the NCAA Quarterfinal versus No. 8 UC Davis (Nov. 30). Followed the match up with a hat trick in the NCAA Semifinal game against No. 1 UCLA (Dec. 2). Ranked in the top three in conference in goals per game, points per game, and steals per game. Also a Peter J. Cutino Award finalist.
2016 (Redshirt Freshman):
Scored 25 goals in 12 games as a freshman before a season-ending injury. He tallied goals in all 12 games, including eight multi-goal games. He scored a season-high four goals twice, in wins over No. 16 Cal Baptist (Sept. 16) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Sept. 18). Pavillard also added a hat-trick against Redlands (Sept. 18). On the year, he registered 12 assists, with three each against No. 18 Harvard (Sept. 4) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Sept. 18). He tallied 25 steals on the year, and drew six
Redshirted during the 2015 season.
Pavillard is a graduate of All Saint’s College in Leeming, Australia.
The son of Hugh and Jay Pavillard, Luke is majoring in business.
