Stockton, Calif. - Senior Goran Tomasevic was named MPSF men's water polo Player of the Week after leading No. 3 Pacific with 17 goals over the weekend.

Tomasevic scored four goals each in wins over MIT, No. 12 St. Francis (NY), and No. 17 Navy, and then added five goals in a win over No. 18 Brown at Brown's Bruno Fall Invitational.

The three-time All-American suited up for the first time this season and now is averaging 4.25 goals per game for the third-ranked Tigers.

On the weekend, Pacific outscored its competition 83-23, with Tomasevic nearly outscoring the Tigers opponents by his lonesome.

But Pacific's offense was a balanced attack, as teammate Balasz Erdelyi added 16 goals on the weekend, while Alex Obert added 10. Ten different Tigers averaged at least a goal per match on the weekend.

Pacific is back in action Saturday at the NorCal Tournament. The Tigers will face Santa Clara in the first round on Saturday at Diablo Valley College at 10:50 am.
