2012 (RS Sophomore):
Hughes spent the 2012 season as Pacific's second-string goalkeeper, seeing time in five games for the Tigers. He set a career high with seven saves in Pacific's win over Claremont-M-S before tying that mark against La Verne, both at the Aggie Shootout at UC Davis. Hughes finished the year with 25 saves, good for an average of five blocks per game. 

2011 (RS Freshman):
Serving as the Tigers' third-string goalie, Hughes blocked two shots in Pacific's 10-5 win over then-No. 10 UC Davis on Oct. 7, helping hold the Aggies to their lowest point total of the season. 

2010 (Freshman):
Hughes redshirt his first season at Pacific.

High School:
Hughes graduated from Washington High School in Fremont, Calif., where he earned two letters in water polo. During the 2008 and 2009 seasons, Hughes was named the team defensive MVP while earning first team all-league honors.

Personal:
Hughes is the son of Paul and Jeanine Hughes, and has one younger sister, Alexa. During his free time, he enjoys photography and playing soccer and ultimate frisbee. In his second year at Pacific, Hughes is majoring in business.
