2013 (Junior): Caceres led the MPSF in digs per set after totaling 286 digs in 105 sets for an average of 2.72 per game. He was selected for the third straight season to the All-MPSF squad, receiving an honorable mention selection.

2012 (Sophomore):
Building on a great freshman season, Caceres was even better in 2012 earning an All-MPSF Second Team selection. While appearing in 103 sets, he finished second in the conference with 2.56 digs per game, totaling 264 digs for the season. Academically, Caceres was recognized after the season with Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic honors.

2011 (Freshman): 
In his first collegiate season Caceres made an immediate impact for the Tigers appearing in 30 matches and earning All-MPSF Honorable Mention. He recorded 39 assists in his 105 sets played. He led the Tigers with 278 digs over the course of the season. 

High School:
Javier attended Colegio Marista in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.The Colegio Marista volleyball team was a two-time Puerto Rico High School League Champion squad, and Caceres was named MVP of the team both times. Javier also played for the Puerto Rico National Team, and participated in the Junior Olympics six times, earning two silver medals.

Personal:
Javier Caceres was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. He is the son of Juan and Rosadelle Caceres. He has three older brothers who all played volleyball, and were all liberos. Caceres is a business major with plans on becoming a sports agent.
