STOCKTON, Calif. – Following two match wins Feb. 4 at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center, Pacific concludes its four-match home swing when the Tigers host UC Santa Barbara (2-1) on Saturday and Nevada (1-0) on Sunday. First serve for each dual match is set for 1 p.m. PT.
Admission to all matches during the weekend is free.
No live scoring will be available on either Saturday or Sunday, but Twitter updates can be found on the Tigers' official account (@).
"Both teams are highly competitive and have had a tradition of feisty, competitive matches," Pacific coach Ryan Redondo said. "I expect us to get a lot better from the experiences. This is why we do what we do, to be in the moment and just compete. We should have a nice crowd and great weather for both matches."
Pacific (4-2) enters the weekend coming off a pair of wins over Hawai'i and Portland State. The Tigers blanked Hawai'i, 6-0, and Portland State, 7-0.
The Tigers' Akram El Sallaly and Ross Watson each enter the weekend 4-1 in singles action, with El Sallaly riding a four-match win streak. Tadiwa Chinamo and Miguel Diaz are each 4-2, as Diaz is on a three-match win streak.
Chinamo and Alex Giannini are each 3-2 in doubles action.
