Stockton, Calif. – Two of the four Pacific singles players advanced to the quarterfinals in the first day of the Pacific Tiger Invitational on Friday, November 1 at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts. Denis Stolyarov and Daniel Alameh both advanced to the quarterfinals with a pair of wins each.
Both Tigers' doubles teams also moved to the third round of the main doubles draw.
"It was a good start for Daniel and Denis," said Head Coach Ryan Redondo. "Denis defeating the No. 2 seed showed some heart today. Both teams getting through to the third round in doubles is always great. We have a big day coming up tomorrow."
