No. 66 Pacific Closes Out Another Win 4-3 Against University Of Iowa

Stockton, Calif.- Pacific started off the match strong. The Tigers jumped out on the courts eager to take on Iowa.  With all the energy the Tigers had, they were able to secure all three of the doubles positions. Each of the matches were secured confidently which served to boost the Tiger excitement and added to the match momentum for the singles match.

In the singles competitions, the Tigers posted wins in the top three positions to secure the match early on in match play.  Freshman Sem Verbeek clinched the match victory securing a win in the No. 1 position for Pacific. Others that proves victorious include senior Alex Golding and sophomore Denis Stolyarov.

At the conclusion of the match, Director of Tennis and Head Men's Tennis Coach Ryan Redondo remarked, "Great win today. Didn't play our best but got it done. We were very disciplined and we backed off just enough to lose some matches after the match was already decided. We will get ready for UNM."
