In his third season at Pacific, Moore continued to be one of the Tigers' top freestylers, taking 20th in the 200 Free (1:41.00) and 26th in the 100 Free (45.73) at the 2013 MPSF Championships. He placed seventh in the 200 Free (1:44.68) and 10th in the 100 Free (47.22) at the Pacific Invite, and added an 11th-place showing in the 100 Free (46.84) at the UNLV Winter Invite.
A key component of the Tigers’ sprint freestyle group, Moore had a solid sophomore campaign for Pacific. He notched a pair of third-place finishes in the 100 Free against both CSU Bakersfield and Air Force to go along with a fifth-place showing versus Seattle and CSUB. He also collected two sixth-place finishes in the 50 Free during the regular season. At the 2012 MPSF Championships, Moore collected two top-20 finishes, taking 15th in the 200 Free with a time of 1:40.92 while placing 20th in the 100 Free behind a mark of 46.33. Those times ranked second and fourth, respectively, on the team.
Moore took seventh in the 100 Free at the 2011 MPSF Championships with a time of 45.67. He was also a member of the runner-up 400 Free Relay team. He had his best showing against UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 29, taking third in the 100 Free with a time of 48.94. He finished fourth in the 50 Free (21.87) in the Tri Meet on Jan. 22 and fourth in the 100 Free (48.46) against Cal Poly on Jan. 28.
Moore attented Jesuit High School in Carmichael, Calif., where he earned three letters in both swimming and water polo. He was named the Marauders’ Outstanding Swimmer of the Year as a senior in addition to receiving All-America recognition.
Moore was born in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and is the son of Shawn and Kori Moore. He has two siblings, Ashley and Thomseh. Moore is a business major and enjoys fishing in his free time.
