Three Tigers On Men's Soccer All-WCC Teams

Stockton, Calif. - League-leading scorer Tristan Blackmon earned Second Team honors and Josh Adachi and Julio Cervantes each earned Honorable Mention accolades as the West Coast Conference announced its men's soccer All-Conference Team.

Blackmon picked up Second Team honors and also was named to the All-Freshmen team after leading the West Coast Conference with eight goals. He also led the WCC with 0.47 goals per game and 1.06 points per game. Blackmon's point total of 18 was second in the WCC. Six of his eight goals on the year came against WCC opponents, which was also tops in the league.

Adachi led the conference in saves per game, as the freshman posted an average of 5.41.  Adachi faced a league-high 351 shots this season and picked up Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. He posted a career-high 11 saves at Gonzaga,

Cervantes scored two goals while adding two assists in his sophomore campaign after joining the Tigers from Merritt College. He posted goals in a win over UC Santa Cruz and against Santa Clara, while adding assists at USF and against UC Santa Cruz.
