Men's Golf Finishes Fourth At WCC Championship

PROVO, Utah - The Pacific men's golf team closed out their season Saturday at the West Coast Conference Championships finishing tied for fourth shooting five under on the day and two under over the three-day tournament at Riverside Country Club. Tyler Burnes led the Tigers with the lowest score of the day shooting five under overall including a collective of seven birdies.

Burnes finished tied for ninth (213) on the individual leaderboard, thanks to his final round 67. Burnes birdied all four par-five holes on the day.

James Feutz finished tied for 11th after he shot 70 on Saturday to finish at two under (214). He posted five birdies in his final round, and 13 for the tournament.

Austin Fox ended up tied for 20th at +1 (217) with four birdies on the day and 13 for the tournament as well.     

Geoff Fry was tied for 31st at +4 (220), turning in a pair of birdies, finishing with seven in the tournament. Casey Scott was 37th at +8 (224) with three birdies on the day and nine on the weekend.

All five Tigers birdied the par-five 13th hole and turned in pars on the second and fourth holes.

Pacific's 862 was tied for fourth with Santa Clara. The Tigers charged back after starting in ninth after day one by shooting a combined -11 in the final two rounds.
