Day Two Closes At The SMC Invitational For Pacific Golf

Pebble Beach, Calif. - Closing out day two of the Saint Mary's Invitational at Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach, the Tiger golf team dropped to 14th in the standings after 36 holes of play. Pacific will finish up the three-day event on Wednesday as part of the first group off of the tees.

In a rough go around the course at Poppy Hills, the Tigers dropped 32 strokes on the day to fall to +42 for the tournament. Senior SeungJae Maeng paced the Tigers at six-over par in the second round as the fourth-year golfer posted a 77 for the day. Maeng finds himself in a tie for 50th with a two-day total of +10. First round leader, freshman Tyler Burnes, dropped out of the tournaments top-10 after shooting a +9, 80, in the second round of action.
