Tigers In Fresno For The Lexus Classic
Fresno, Calif. - Making their annual trip to the Fresno in the Spring, the Pacific men's golf team heads to the Fort Washington Country Club for the 2012 Fresno State Lexus Classic from March 5-6. The Tigers will be part of the 49th edition of the tournament which will feature a field of 16 teams.
Played on the 6,765-yard, par-72 Fort Washington Country Club course, the Tigers will look for a repeat performance out of one of their golfers at the classic as they saw one of their own take home the individual title last season at the tournament. Last season, Alex Johnson won the event, outlasting his competition in a five-hole playoff for the victory. This season, the Tigers are led into the tournament by another Alex, junior Alex Edfort as they send their top six golfers to the event looking to medal at the event.
