Four Tigers Leave Basketball Program
April 4, 2011
Stockton, Calif. - Pacific men's basketball Head Coach Bob Thomason has announced today that juniors Chuck Coley (West Palm Beach, Fla.) and Jose Rivera (Brentwood, Calif.) and sophomores Allen Huddleston (Merced, Calif.) and Stephon Lamar (San Diego, Calif.) will each leave the Pacific program to pursue their degrees elsewhere. All four players leave the Tiger program eligible to play NCAA basketball.
"We wish each of these guys the best," said Thomason. "I hope each finds what they are looking for, hope each has success and most importantly graduates. I am just disappointed that they will not graduate from Pacific."
Coley played in 26 games, scoring 21 points. Rivera averaged 5.5 points per game with 49 three-pointers. Huddleston was second on the team in scoring with 11.1 points per game, earning All-Big West Honorable Mention honors. Lamar played in just three games, missing most of the year with a knee injury.
