SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Pacific will make its West Coast Conference debut at the league's third annual basketball tip-off event at Time Warner Cable Sports Studios on Thursday, October 24. The event will give West Coast Conference fans the ability to interact with all 10 WCC head men's and women's basketball coaches and student-athletes from each institution through a live stream on TheW.tv and the popular "WCC Live" radio program, available on WCCsports.com. Fans can also interact with West Coast Conference student-athletes through live Google+ Hangouts. The 2013-14 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball preseason poll and all-conference team will be announced that day as well.

Pacific will be represented by men's and women's basketball head coaches Ron Verlin and Lynne Roberts, along with student-athletes Tony Gill and Kendall Kenyon.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. PT, each WCC coach and student-athlete will take part in a live video interview in which fans can submit questions via Twitter and Facebook. The men's interview sessions will be hosted by Time Warner Cable SportsNet's Chris McGee and Dave Miller, and the women's sessions will be hosted by TheW.tv's West Coast Correspondent Amanda Blackwell. Both the men's and women's video interviews will be streamed live on TheW.tv and WCCsports.com.

Coaches and student-athletes will also sit down with Jeff Lampe, host of the popular "WCC Live" Internet talk show to preview their team's season. The special edition of "WCC Live" will air live beginning at 11:00 a.m. PDT.

New in 2013, men's and women's student-athletes will participate in live, interactive Google+ Hangouts beginning at 10:30 a.m. PDT. Fans wishing to participate can offer comments and questions through the hash tag #AskWCChoops.

During the event, coaches and student-athletes will also spend one-on-one time with media members in attendance at the Tip-Off, in El Segundo, Calif., and sit down with video production teams to capture content to be used throughout the season - including the 2014 WCC Basketball Championships in Las Vegas.
