The Tiger men's basketball team returns to the Spanos Center for a pair of home games this Thursday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Pacific takes on Big West Conference opponents Cal State Northridge (Feb. 14) and Hawai'i (Feb. 16).
Pacific is 13-10 on the season and 7-4 in Big West play after losses last weekend at Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara. Junior Ross Rivera led the Tigers in scoring at UCSB with 15 points. Senior Lorenzo McCloud leads the Tigers with 11.3 points per game and 92 assists. Junior Travis Fulton leads the team with 4.0 rebounds per game.
Cal State Northridge is 13-12 on the year and 4-9 in Big West play after splitting two games last week against UC Irvine (won 70-61) and Long Beach State (lost 83-80). Stephan Hicks leads the Matadors with 16.8 points per game, while Stephen Maxwell is scoring 14.9 points and has team-best 8.2 rebounds per game. Pacific won this year's earlier meeting, 74-62 in Northridge on Jan. 19. Rivera led the Tigers with 16 points in the game.
Hawai'i is 15-9 on the year and 9-4 in Big West play after winning two games last week against Long Beach State (94-73) and UC Irvine (78-72). Christian Standhardinger leads the Warriors with 16.3 points per game. Hawai'i won this year's earlier meeting, 60-52 in Honolulu on Jan. 17. Junior Sama Taku led the Tigers with 15 points.
