Harris is a 6-6 wing from Kingwood, Texas. He is finishing up his first year at Western Wyoming Community College where he was a teammate of recent Tiger signee Rodrigo De Souza. Joining De Souza on NJCAA Region IX All-Tournament, he helped the Mustangs to seventh place national finish at the NJCAA National Tournament the following week. Harris averaged 13.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 52.0 percent from the field and 46.0 percent from three-point range. He attended Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas, helping lead the Mustangs to 75 wins in his final two years and three straight appearances in the Men’s Basketball State 5A Playoffs. Kingwood HS won the state title in 2004-05. Following high school, he served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern California.
“Trevin brings great toughness, intelligence and great outside shooting, with a winning attitude,” said Thomason. “Trevin will also bring great leadership to our program. To have two players from the same successful program will help in our pursuit of an NCAA Tournament berth next season.”
“I chose Pacific because I felt like I was at home when I was there,” said Harris. “The coaching staff is top notch and you can’t beat the education or location. I also picked Pacific because I feel that I can be a major part of something big.”
