Fulton is a 6-6 forward from Corona, Calif. He comes to Pacific as a junior, after spending two years at Irvine Valley College. He earned First Team All-State honors as a sophomore in 2010-11, leading the Lasers to a 23-8 overall record and 8-4 mark in Orange Empire Conference action. Travis led the team with averages of 16.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, while handing off 71 assists. He hit 45.0 percent of his shots from the field, including 37 three-pointers. He had seven double-doubles as a sophomore, scoring a career-high 27 points with 12 boards against Chaffey College on Dec. 10. As a freshman in 2009-10, he averaged 13.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest. He prepped at Santiago High School in Corona, Calif.
“Travis is an outstanding player and person,” said Thomason. “He can score inside and out and brings toughness, intelligence and comes from successful basketball programs. I am very excited that Travis is a part of the Tiger Basketball family.”
“I chose Pacific because it felt like a great place to get an education and be successful,” said Fulton. “It’s a place I can fit in and win basketball games. I’m very excited to be playing basketball at Pacific.”
