May 15, 2011

BELLEVUE, Wash. - The Pacific Tigers and Seattle Redhawks will resume Saturday's suspended game Monday at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Bannerwood Park, following the Tigers' 2 p.m. game against Washington at Husky Ballpark.

Play was halted Saturday after three innings, with the Tigers up 2-1. Sophomore 3B Dustin Torchio (Santa Cruz, Calif.) hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot to right in the top of the first, while freshman C Jason Taasaas (Elk Grove, Calif.) added an RBI single in the second.

Suspended, the game was to resume Sunday at noon, but continued rain has forced the cancellation of game three of the series.

The Tigers will make the move between games from Husky Ballpark to Bannerwood Park for a two games in two stadiums double-header.
