Senior SS Dustin Torchio added three hits with a double, an RBI, and a pair of runs scored. Junior C Jason Taasaas drove in three with a pair of hits, including a double, while sophomore RF Taylor Murphy drove in three with a two-run homer and a sacrifice fly.

Amid a steady light rain, Pacific's offense racked up 12 hits, including four extra-base hits.

The Tigers opened the scoring in the first as Sullivan walked, sophomore 1B Erik Lockwood singled and Taasaas delivered his third double of the year.

In the Pacific third inning, Sullivan and Torchio singled before DH Brett Sullivan was hit by pitch. Taasaas was walked with the bases loaded to plate a run.

The Tigers answered right back in the bottom of the fourth, as senior 2B Tyger Pederson walked and came around to score on Tyler Sullivan's triple. After a wild pitch gave Pacific a 5-3 lead, Torchio doubled and Brett Sullivan singled to complete a three-run inning.

Pacific sophomore RHP Mike Hager departed after four innings, allowing the three-run homer and four hits. Junior LHP Kyle Crawford retired nine of 10 over the next three innings to keep Fresno State off the board.

In the meantime, Pacific's offense tacked on two more in the fifth, as Taasaas walked and Murphy drove a 3-2 pitch over the wall in left for an opposite-field home run. The first of the season and career for Murphy gave Pacific a 7-3 lead.

In the bottom of the sixth, Tyler Sullivan singled and stole second, and came in to score on Torchio's single to left center. After Brett Sullivan beat out an infield roller, Taasaas singled to left center to bring home Torchio and Murphy added a sacrifice fly for an 11-3 lead.

Freshman RHP Nick Viola tossed the eighth for Pacific and walked the leadoff man before striking out the next two batters. DH/P Jordan Brink doubled to right for the Bulldogs for a run, just the second hit of the season off Viola, who was holding opponents to 1-for-22 at the plate until Brink's two-bagger.

Senior RHP Bryce Lombardi tossed a scoreless ninth as Pacific improved to 7-12 on the year.

Crawford (1-0) earned the win, with one hit allowed in 3.0 shutout innings. Fresno State's Garrett Mundell took the loss, allowing three earned runs in the fourth inning, his lone inning of work.
