Jodi is the current Athletic Training Education Program Director in the Department of Health, Exercise, and Sport Sciences at the University of the Pacific. She graduated from Whitworth College in 1997 with her Bachelors degree in Sports Medicine and from San Diego State University in 2002 with her Master’s degree in Biomechanics and Athletic Training. She completed her doctoral degree in Educational Administration and Leadership for Higher Education from the University of the Pacific in 2012.  

Prior to taking over ATEP, Jodi was the Assistant and Associate Director of Athletic Training at University of the Pacific from 2002 – 2007. During this time she worked with the Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Swimming, and Softball. She then became the Director of the Athletic Training Education Program in 2007 and is still currently in that position. Jodi’s areas of research interest include disordered eating and eating disorders in athletes, effects of concussions, and assessment in Athletic Training Education.
