In June 2016, Chris Lynn was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Development after serving one year as Assistant Athletic Director for Development. In his new role, Chris will solicit major gifts for athletics facility projects and endowments. In addition, Chris serves on the athletics department senior staff, oversees the Pacific Athletic Foundation (PAF), and is the sports supervisor for Men’s and Women’s Swimming.
Chris joined Pacific Athletics in June 2011 as Assistant Director of Athletics for Annual Giving. Since arriving in 2011, PAF has seen increases in cash donations by 195%, PAF Membership by 120% , and Fund Drive Volunteer participation by 162%.
Chris came to Pacific after spending the previous three years as the Assistant Director for Athletic Development for the Miner Athletic Club at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). While at UTEP, Chris oversaw the annual spring Fund Drive and managed over 100 volunteers who collectively helped the Miner Athletic Club to raise an additional $130,000 in new cash in 2010.
Prior to joining UTEP in August 2008, Chris spent two years working in the Athletic Department at the University of Kentucky, one year at UC Berkeley as an intern, and two years as a student assistant/intern at his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Louisville. Chris completed his master's degree in sport management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in December of 2011.
Chris and his wife Kimberly currently reside in Stockton, Calif.
