| Position: | Associate Director of Athletics for Development |
Jim Dugoni began his duties as Associate Director of Athletics for Development on October 19, 2009, after spending the previous three-and-a-half years overseeing annual giving for the entire University as Director of the Pacific Fund. In his 15th year at the University, Dugoni's current role with Pacific Athletics includes major gifts fundraising as well as overseeing the enitre fundraising operation for Pacific Athletics.
Dugoni was originally hired at Pacific in 1996 as Ticket Manager and Associate Director of Marketing and Events. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics for External Affairs in 1998 and took on the additional role of Executive Director of the Pacific Tigers Athletics Association (PTAA) in December 1999. In June 2006, Dugoni moved across campus to take over annual giving for the University.
A 1986 Pacific graduate with a degree in business administration, Dugoni gained six years of experience in professional sports as a Regional Ticket Manager for the San Francisco Giants and as Director of Marketing and Sales for the San Jose Golddiggers of Major League Volleyball. He earned a master's degree in sport management from the United States Sports Academy in 1990, before completing a master's degree in higher education administration at Stanford University in 1993.
Dugoni spent a total of four years at Stanford, first serving as Group Ticket Sales Coordinator for football and basketball before joining the major gifts staff for Stanford's Office of Development. In 1995, he was named Associate Director of the National Resources Program, which identified over 4,000 new major gift prospects for Stanford.
Jim and his wife, Lisa, have two sons: Tyler (18) and Jack (14).
