Tim Dickson was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics for Major Gifts on April 18, 2011 after serving as the Athletics Development and Alumni Relations Officer for Pacific Athletics since July 1, 2009. Prior to joining the Tigers, Dickson served as the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Corporate Relations at Long Beach State. Tim worked his way up to that position after serving in several other marketing positions from 1999-2004. As the Assistant AD of Marketing, Dickson implemented marketing plans for all of Long Beach State's revenue generating sports, in addition to overseeing all corporate partnerships and was a member of the External Relations team and Director of Athletics senior staff.

Dickson's experience in college athletics began in the fall of 1998 as a Business Operations and Ticket Manager at nearby Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California. He spent one year there before heading to Long Beach State.

A 1998 Pacific graduate with a B.A. in sport science and a minor in business, Dickson also worked with the San Francisco 49ers as a Public Relations Assistant during their inaugural training camp at Pacific and during the 1998 regular season.

Tim and his wife Julie, also a 1998 Pacific graduate, have a daughter Hope (4) and son Trevor (2).
