Pacific Hires Lindsay Pierce As Coordinator Of Athletics Development and Special Events
Pacific Athletics has announced the hiring of Lindsay Pierce as Coordinator of Athletics Development & Special Events. Lindsay will begin her new role at University of the Pacific on Tuesday, August 16.
Reporting directly to Jim Dugoni, Associate Director of Athletics for Development, Lindsay will have responsibility for overseeing all athletics annual giving solicitations as well as the coordination of a variety of Athletic Department special events including local and regional booster golf tournaments, the Orange & Black Ball, the Hall of Fame & Honors Dinner and the Amos Alonzo Stagg Award of Merit Luncheon. In addition, Lindsay will provide assistance to each of Pacific's 16 intercollegiate athletics teams for a variety of their team-specific fundraisers and special events.
Lindsay comes to Pacific after spending the previous three years as a Development and Event Assistant for the Duck Athletic Fund (DAF) at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. During her time at Oregon, Lindsay oversaw athletics alumni reunion events, pre-game buffets, on-field recognitions and assisted with the planning for a number of DAF annual events. In addition, Lindsay was responsible for a variety of donor relations duties for the Duck Athletic Fund including gift processing, one-on-one seat selection for their new arena, and explaining seat values, donor benefits, and the priority point ranking system to hundreds of DAF donors.
Originally from Danville, CA (San Ramon Valley High), Lindsay completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon in June 2010, with a concentration in Sports Business and a minor in American Sign Language.
