Barnes & Noble and Pacific Women's Soccer Co-Host Community Night

Stockton, Calif. - Barnes & Noble Booksellers is teaming up with the Women's Soccer Program at the University of the Pacific to host their annual "Community Night". To be held on Sunday, August 29th, "Community Night" features a 6pm encounter at Stagg Memorial Stadium as the Pacific Women's Soccer Team take on the Lady Hornets of Sacramento State University, with FREE admission to the general public.
As part of the partnership on "Community Night", children who have completed their Barnes & Noble Summer Reading forms can turn them in at the game and receive their coupon for a free book from Barnes & Noble. Also scheduled to make an apperance at the game is the Barnes & Noble Mascot, Clifford The Big Red Dog. "The University of the Pacific Athletic Department has been a fantastic partner in literacy with Barnes & Noble. Starting with last year's Holiday Book Drive and continuing through the upcoming Community Night, Pacific and Barnes & Noble have worked hand in hand to help bring books, and the joy of reading that comes with those books, to thousands of children in San Joaquin County," said Lee Neves, Community Relations Manager for Barnes and Noble.
