Pacific Athletic Department to hold Seventh Annual Orange and Black Ball on Aug. 26

Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Athletic Department is holding the Seventh Annual Orange and Black Ball on Saturday, August 26, 2006. During the first six years of this event, over $339,000 has been successfully raised for Pacific's 16 intercollegiate athletic teams. The Orange and Black Ball is a combination silent and live auction, which serves as one of the primary fund-raising avenues for Pacific sports teams.

The 2006 Orange and Black Ball is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and the silent auction. Dinner and a live auction follow at 7:30 pm. The evening concludes with cocktails and dancing to the musical styles of "Partime".

Donations of auction items are encouraged and will be accepted until Friday,August 4th at 1 pm. Tickets to the 2006 Orange and Black Ball are available for $50.00, with dinner catered by Angelina's Restaurant. Attire for the event is Orange or Black Tie optional.
